Cape Comic Con

Now doesn't that look like a very intense family photo? This image displays some of the awesome costumes made by folks and shown off at this weekend's comic con in Cape Girardeau.

I attended the Cape Comic Con and had a lovely time. There was a great range of fun activities and awesome things to see that ran the gamut from table top gaming to American comic books to anime and even some awesome arcade machines with pristine cabinets from the 1980's.

The highlight of the event would certainly be the people I met, some of whom you will see featured on this blog in the next two weeks.

If you would like to see more photos from the costume contest then head over to the Chronic Geek Flickr account, found here.

The winner of the costume contest was Pyramid Head. Of course, this monster didn't care that he had won and went on a killing spree, but at least it kept things from becoming boring!
